The Do Over, yazarın bundan önce okuduğum diğer kitabı gibi güzel ve eğlenceli bir hikayeydi. Hangi kitap derseniz buradan yoruma bakabilirsiniz. Bu sefer kitapta aslında klasik gelebilecek bir hikaye anlatılıyor. Lanie, kız kardeşi ile çıkan Brad ile beraber olmak istediğini fark ediyor ve yardım için Kyle ile anlaşmaya çalışıyor. Ama erkek fatma görünümlü, sivri dilli bu kız Kyle'ın hiç de çekici bulmadığı biri ve onunla dalga da geçiyor buluştukları yemekte. Nedense sonra bir anda kızın teklifini kabul ediyor ve hem Brad'i de bu diğer kız kardeş olan cadalozdan kurtarır diye düşünüyor.
